20 Dec Miller Foundation Grant Applications Open January 2
It was announced today that The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation would open its annual grant application online Monday, January 2, 2023, with all nonprofits and 501(c)3 agencies serving Long Beach children invited to apply.
The organization will focus on building deeper partnerships with nonprofits this cycle, simplifying the basic application, adding a shorter application for nonprofits seeking $10,000 or less, reducing reporting requirements, and offering ways to help applicants sustain their services, such as building collaborations and providing critical technical assistance and training.
“It’s our goal this year to simplify the process to amplify funding impact,” foundation President Darick J. Simpson explains. “We are significantly simplifying the application and reporting process to make the most of our applicant’s time and efforts, so that they can concentrate on doing the valued work that our community needs.”
The foundation expects to award 40 annual grants of $25,000 or less this year.
The deadline to apply is March 3, 2023.
